I am proud to serve on the KBEA Board as the Membership Director. My task is to recruit and retain KBEA members by using various activities and professional communications.
SBEA-Southern Business Education Association
Working with the entire Southern Region of America's Business Educators is a professional joy. I serve as the Regional Membership Director where I am responsible for recruiting and retaining membership for the 12 states in the Southern Region, while working under the direction of the National Business Education Association. Networking with and working alongside Business Educators on a national level is both rewarding and exciting.
Curriculum Development
Being asked to work for the Kentucky Department of Education on various projects that directly impacts Ky's students is always rewarding. Whether it be writing curriculum for various classes in the Program of Studies, analyzing and creating questions for the KOSSA exam (Ky's Standardized Business exam), or serving as a mentor for beginning business teachers, the time put in always provides multiple dividends.
